Reason to see: It was on the same DVD as Friday the 13th (1980)
A world of lame. As Friday the 13th was a classic horror film that got ripped off a lot, Part II trend sets the standard for bad horror sequels. It uses a fair amount of footage from the first film, basic premise, then ditches the tension but ramps up the display of skin and bad acting.

I'd not likely watch it again
I'd recommend it as for fans of campy horror

will they bring out freddy vs jason 2
At the rate remakes are being made, it could certainly happen! Although they are making a sequel to the 2009 Friday the 13th, which is the 13th in the series and Freddy vs Jason was the 12th, it could be a while.
Oh, but they are remaking A Nightmare on Elm Street as well... and Freddy vs Jason was 8th in that series. Only time will tell!
