I'll watch Survival of the Dead just because it's a zombie film, they were bread for entertainment (cheese or otherwise).
I'm not quite sure what to make of The Road. I got 10 places and I get 10 different opinions, it's mind blowing. I want it to be great, and I'll probably watch it come Oscar time, but I have to say I'm a bit worried about it.
Survival of the Dead was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed it a lot more than Diary of the Dead. Zombie movies are always fun - especially with a crowd.
People seem pretty split on The Road, I know 1 person that felt very similar to me and then a bunch of people who really liked in including thinking it was a faithful adaptation - which is an interesting question in it of itself. I'd love to hear from someone who went to the 1st screening which got a standing ovation. I think its worth watching, it just wasn't what I had expected.
