You saw 27 Dresses? OMG, I know you talked about so much other stuff but I am just so shocked! And a Meryl Streep movie? Wow Shannon, you are really branching out, I am impressed. I think the main character from 27 dresses was supposed to be one of those people who knows others but doesn't really connect and that is why she is a little extra lonely. Or maybe not. I saw it a long time ago!

I found The International BORING! Once again, Clive Owen does very little to convince me he is very talented. I have no doubt that he is trying but it still falls flat.

It's true 27 Dresses is a pretty uncharacteristic choice for me, but it was a good distraction at the time. There was definitely something very surface level about her character that supports the extra loneliness, I just didn't know she'd know all these people in the first place.

Sounds like we are on the same fence with The International. I like Clive Owen, but I think the best performance I've seen from his was in the first film of his I'd seen: Croupier.
