Interesting that The Wolfman wasn't higher up on the list in Canada than other places. I can't wait to go. I heard almost ziltch about that Valentine's Day movie, have no idea if it is any good and it has quite a cast! I can see why it did well considering that Valentine's Day was on the weekend, perfect date movie.

I think Wolfman did pretty good considering it was up against aptly make holiday film and a family film on a holiday weekend. Horror films tend to have not the easiest time placing high, even for just being a higher rated film so less can see it.

It's funny - I don't know anyone whose seen or even plans to see Valentine's Day, and I've seen trailers and all I can say with confidence is who is in it. It worked though, for that weekend at least they got people to see it!

Yes it did very well, just noticed it was lower down in Canada in comparison. I would have gone if we had had time. I think coming out with a horror film at Valentine's Day is genius, although I probably would have gone to the film Valentine's Day too. Horror? Romance? I love both. I have no idea if it's any good though, weird that so few people you know have seen it. It is very pop culture film though.

That's true - horror and romcoms seem to be the Valentine's choices! And - looking back last year the top Valentine's Day weekend film was Friday the 13th! Who would have though.

Describing Valentine's Day as a pop culture film is brilliant!
