Film Fan Fridays for Friday March 11, 2011

Hello Film Fans and Fanatics!

Welcome to Film Fan Fridays for Friday March 11, 2011!

In limited release this week we have just two releases and both doc and acclaimy, first with The Arbor which sounds like an interpretive biography/documentary on playwright Andrea Dunbar and keeping it docu-ness, we also have the Thursday March 10, 2011 release of And Everything Is Going Fine a documentary on Spalding Gray.

In wide release this week we have 3 releases hitting theatres, all of which are really big. It actually almost feels big enough to be a summer weekend with the big war/action-vibe of alien invasion of Battle: Los Angeles right along side Red Riding Hood from Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke and starring Amanda Seyfried, Lukas Haas, Gary Oldman, Billy Burke and is loosely based on Le Petit Chaperon Rouge by Charles Perrault and Rotkäppchen / Redcape by The Brothers Grimm. And rounding out the wide releases is Mars Needs Moms, an animated family film about a kid whose mom gets abducted by martians.

Have a great weekend!
